At the intersection of storytelling, service and strategy, we help restaurants share powerful narratives, run optimally, scale thoughtfully, and think outside the box.
From building wine programs from the ground up, to growth interventions, to menu consultations, to launching events and pop-ups, to shaping a media presence that turns first-time guests into regulars, range is our specialty.
With 15 years of New York City industry experience, coupled with decades of media leadership, we are uniquely positioned to build brands out of concepts and to help restaurants understand and participate in the current mediascape.
Acid Hound was born out of a recognition that independent restaurants need more support than they can afford.
We come from years of working in restaurants with some of the world's most renowned chefs and operators, and subsequently built and operated restaurants of our own. Our concepts included multi-unit fast-casual Little Tong Noodle Shop (awarded two stars by The New York Times) and finer-dining Silver Apricot (MICHELIN Plate 2021 and The New York Times' "100 Best Restaurants in New York City in 2024").
We launched the viral Dogwood Café pop-up that took New York City by storm in 2024, and hosted media launch events for lifestyle brands like Cora. We incubated Rethink Food's restaurant partnership pilot in 2020 that evolved into its nationwide Rethink Certified program. We brought together AANHPI chefs from around New York City for a monthlong pop-up supporting Apex for Youth.
We also come from an extensive background in journalism and new media, with a finger on the pulse of social platforms and audience analytics. We've spent years in editorial for The Wall Street Journal and The Huffington Post, among others, and lead creative teams of videographers and photographers, graphic designers, and audience and engagement experts.
